Having a bunch of sex workers gratuitously killed for no reason alongside all the random violence and destruction just made it feel like it was being edgy for the sake of being edgy.

I had many people who claimed this was one of the classics of visual novels so I'd been pretty excited to play it.

Ultimately though at the 10 hour point I feel this game is more fun to think about, talk about, and feel excited about then it is to actually play.

The writing is average while the world building, ui, and art are fantastic. Parts of the game feel distasteful and if they'd toned things back at bit, it could've had way more impact.

My other issue is that the game didn't really explain how the choices mattered when you play. You only get two choices in the game and they're major vital choices but for first time players you'll have no understanding of how they matter.

There is no reason that going up or down the stairs should be a life or death choice.

I also really could've done without the sudden and random incest relationship. The writers didn't have to make it an incest relationship and it just kinda sucked.

Overall, I regret getting this game.

I think it's overhyped and I should've gotten Dramatical Murder instead.

I'm not going to give it a negative review since I still think it's a high quality game but it really let me down.
